San Diego, Day 4, part 2

We went to downtown Coronado for lunch and while we were there Dad took me by the Hotel del Coronado which is a famous hotel. It was quite impressive. We ate at a little hole in the wall restaurant that he had found earlier in his stay and they had some awesome hamburgers. We then headed out to find our way up the Pacific Coast Highway. It had some pretty areas but also a lot of traffic. I drove through the Los Angeles area and it was a bit slow going but we weren't on a schedule so we were okay. We were going to stay in Santa Barbara but we wound up heading back south to Carpenteria instead. We are headed out today to Solvanga and we were going to go to Big Sur but we just saw on the TV that they have closed the PCH for 12 miles up there due to fires, so new plan, you'll find out later what we wound up doing. Love you guys!
