Jockey's Ridge State Park, NC

Matt and I have been planning a trip to NC for about two weeks now and the weather finally cooperated on a day that he was able to go. He was wanting to know how to get to Nags Head so I decided that I would just show him. We took the top off of his Samaurai and headed down there. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, a little windy, Matt had a little trouble fighting the wind while we were driving. We stopped at Mel's diner for lunch on the way down and it was really good. We then got down to Jockey's Ridge and climbed the dunes. Matt climbed more than I did but I did climb one of the big ones and my legs are screaming already, I don't know if I will be walking tomorrow :-) We had a really good time and it was nice to spend the day with Matthew by ourselves. His little truck is so fun!

Picture Day

Well, I've been trying to get the kids together to do pictures for months now and we finally had a day when we could all get together and the weather was nice. I really liked the way they turned out - Thanks kids!

Pics from Brad

Brad sent me some more pics from his newest adventure. The ship went through the "Strait of Magellan. The cross is the point of land that is the most southern part of a continent, not Antartica, in the world".

Brad at work

Brad sent these pictures today. I love the one of him working. The other two are of a sonic boom - pretty cool!
